IEEE COINS 2023 Contest for In-Sensor Machine Learning Computing
We are excited to share a report about the competition co-organized by IEEE, STMicroelectronics, and Neuton.AI at the IEEE COINS Conference held in Berlin. The competition aimed to demonstrate how easy it has become to endow programmable sensors with AI capabilities.
We were thrilled to see young professionals from across the globe respond and participate by creating AI models using Neuton.AI and embedding them in STMicro ultra-low power 6-axis ISM330IS ISPU sensor, which has 8Kb of Data RAM and 32Kb of Program RAM, leading to some fascinating projects. The completion of these projects demonstrates and explicitly showcases the evolution of AI-driven sensors and how effortlessly users can leverage them.
